By downloading, installing, or using the Jerteen mobile application ("App" or "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

You must be a natural person, at least 18 years old, a resident of Nigeria, and have full legal capacity to use the App. Corporate or business accounts are not supported at this time.

You must create an account using your email, name, phone number, BVN, and complete KYC verification as required by law and our banking partners. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

We may suspend or terminate your account if KYC cannot be completed or is found to be inaccurate.

The App allows you to securely connect your Nigerian bank accounts via approved APIs or open-banking protocols.

• You give us explicit consent to access, view, and display your account balances, transactions, and assets.
• We do not store your bank login credentials.
• We are not a bank and do not hold your funds.

You may initiate transfers between your connected accounts from within the App. All transfers are processed by your respective banks. Jerteen acts only as a facilitator and is not liable for any delays, failures, fees, or errors by the banks.

The App provides automated tax estimates and a gateway to make tax payments to the relevant government authorities.

• Tax calculations are for informational purposes only and are not professional tax advice.
• You remain fully responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of your tax filings and payments.
• Jerteen is not liable for any tax penalties, interest, or disputes with tax authorities.

The App includes AI-powered tools for budgeting, spending insights, tax guidance, and general financial assistance.

• All AI output is generated for general information only and does not constitute financial, investment, or tax advice.
• You should consult a qualified professional for personalised advice.
• Jerteen is not liable for any decisions you make based on AI suggestions.

Bank fees or government charges may still apply independently.

You may not use the App for any illegal purpose, money laundering, fraud, or to circumvent tax obligations. We may report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities (CBN, EFCC, FIRS, etc.).

Jerteen owns all rights in the App and its content. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the App for personal financial management only.

• To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, our total liability to you is limited to fees you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
• We are not responsible for any loss of funds, tax penalties, or financial decisions you make.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms or for security reasons.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Abuja.

We may update these Terms. We will notify you via the App or email. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
